A few facts about the Calamianes archipelago

The population of the entire archipelago is about 64000 (national census 2010) whereby most of the population is concentrated in the capital of Coron on Busuanga island. Busuanga is the biggest (about 1400 km2) and most important island of the archipelago and this is also where the property is situated.

Busuanga lies about 400 km south of Manila.

From Manila there are 4 to 9 flights every day (depending on the season). The pleasant journey takes a short 45 minutes.

The property:

The property is titled and all the papers are in perfect order. The title is in the name of a corporation and the shares can easily be transferred.

The property is situated directly on the beach facing the sunset. Marvelous colorful sunsets can be experienced every single day of the year.

The landscape in front of the property is stunning: various white sand beach atolls and mangrove surrounded islands are visible in the near distance. You have the feeling as if you are living on a big lake.

The property area is 3,513 sqm.

The property has several natural springs. The water pours forward from the mountain behind the property. Consider the fact that there never is any water shortage, no water bills to pay, and its quality is comparable to the purest alpine spring water.

The property is shaded by huge secular trees. This is a crucial feature because the trees regulate the heat and keep the property cool. A property in the tropics without trees is impossible to live. In our garden/ forest dwell huge frangipani and mango trees, coconut and cashew-nut trees and many others.

The private beach with its pale pink colored sand measures 200 m.

The adjacent sea is crystal clear, calm and rich in fish.

The colorful coral reef is only 100 m from the beach and can easily be reached by swimming or by boat.

The buildings:

In total there are 6 buildings: 5 on land and 1 in the sea.

3 villas (75 sqm, 85 sqm and 112 sqm in size) situated about 50 m from each other. They are different in design but have the “Balinese tropical style living” theme in common:

Spacious rooms, high ceilings, large windows, breezy and commodious verandas. They are tastefully outfitted with polished hard wood floors, handmade furniture done by local craftsmen and decorated with ornaments and objects from all over Asia.

1 kitchen

1 double storey gazebo which serves as an outdoor living room

1 floating house just next to the coral reef. It consists of a large room, a big veranda, and a toilet. It may serve as a relaxing area during the day or for romantic nights under the stars.

There is a possibility to expand.
